Accord Employment Law Services

Accord Services works with a range of business sizes, small to large and has client experience from a broad variety of industries.

We provide advice to employees and employers in Australasia on employment relationship issues, business restructuring, redundancy and personal grievances such as unfair dismissal, sexual harassment, bullying and stress at work.

Wendy Macphail is an Employment Law and Human Resource practitioner, with extensive experience in managing workplace relations including Restructuring, Mediation, Employment Agreements, Employee Performance, Employee Engagement, Human Resources and Grievances.

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Law Degree with First Class Honours, and graduated in 1997 from University of Waikato.

Wendy has an ongoing specialist interest in human development particularly in areas of Neuroscience and Applied Positive Psychology. She has a Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Positive Psychology from University of Melbourne 2016, and has completed the Gallup Strength Centre Sydney, Gallup Strength Finders Coaching Course in 2015.

Wendy is a regular writer on topical employment law issues and employee engagement, and current advisor to the Venus Business Network Group; and has been involved with the Hawkes Bay Medical Ethics Committee; Princess Alexander Medical Trust; NZ Law Society Womens Consultative Group.
